This Great Yellow Bumblebee bracelet in sterling silver features a single, cheerful bee, hand-enamelled in vibrant colourways. The bumblebee design measures approximately 18mm wide.
Orkney is one of only a few places where the Great Yellow bumblebee can still be found, making it one of Britain’s rarest species of bumblebee. As a result, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust is working on a project dedicated solely to saving this particular species.
Sheila Fleet has developed this special collection to closely resemble the markings of the Great Yellow bumblebee, with its distinctive yellow tail.
